Ann Griffin, the owner and head trainer of GreatPaws has been working with dogs of all breeds for the past 10 years. She has three dogs of her own and enjoys competing in agility and obedience trials with them. They have earned several titles together including CD (Companion Dog) and RA (Rally Advanced) which are American Kennel Club titles, and U-CD (United Companion Dog) and U-CDX (United Companion Dog Excellent) which are United Kennel Club titles.

Ann has personally trained over 100 dogs in her board and train programs, and taught over 500 dogs and their owners in her group classes! That's a lot of dogs, and the old saying "practice makes perfect" is really true. The more dogs you get to work with the more you learn about canine behavior and how to teach different breeds successfully. No two dogs are the same, so having a toolbox full of different options helps her approach each situation with a method that will work for that specific dog.

Ann is not stuck in one way of doing things, so no worries about a "my way or the highway approach". She is open to training in any way that is humane and provides reliable results and a happy dog!
